quick reply

Not sure if this is the right place to put my question, nevertheless I'd like to know how to activate the quick reply.
I can't comment anywhere or activate the quick reply. Inside the message box it says to click any of the shown icons to activate the quick reply, but it doesn't work.
What can I do to place comments or reply?

I'd read the Forums rules and how to manage my way around here. I wanted to comment some of the beautiful rings and bracelets I'd seen. I couldn't find any buttons for replying, nor couldn't get the quick reply to work. Finally just right now I realized that the big planets are the buttons I was looking for. So again thanks, I think I got it now.
